Quite important tides, especially on the West coast of the island. On the west coast the water is choppy with westerly winds. Shallow areas. Beware of the mussels poles at low tide. Long sandy beach with dunes in the bay of La Gueriniere. Can get packed in July and August. Good in Westerly winds. April to July thermal wind from Northwest, otherwise frontal driven. Nice and warm in summer, only shorty needed. October to May a wetsuit is needed. Quiet cold in winter. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
