This spot is a lake which is perfect for beginner and advanced riders. It's shallow water on the first 400m and then deep. The water is quite flat on the edge of the lake and you can get small waves ( The sandy beach is little, but good to set up your kite as it's usually protected from the wind by trees. June to September: you have what we call `thermal`, local wind starting to blow usually in the afternoon (with tide) picking up between 3:30pm and 6pm. Direction is West/Northwest with wind average between 12-18 knots. 16-20m2 are the perfect size. September-October: wind is strongly blowing (up to 30-40 knots) when depressions are coming. Best wind direction is West to Northwest. You can easily kite anytime in Sanguinet with 2 main seasons: June to September: summer quite hot between 20-40°C during high summer. September to October: temperature is going down but wind is blowing up due to strong depression coming from the ocean. Complete wetsuit equipment in winter, shorty or shorts in summer. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Camping. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
