Watch for old dock pilings and debris in water from 1964 Earthquake destruction. Watch for debris on beach and old barge beached adjacent to launch area. Lots of room downwind, and a gravel road to walk back upwind. 15-20 knot SW winds prevail from May to October. A thick or dry suit is always needed. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Camping, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
